how do i set up a pop3 email account in microsoft outlook 2003?

1. Open Microsoft Outlook 2003.

2. In the top left menu go to “Tools” and select “E-mail Accounts…” from the drop down menu.

3. A new window will popup, select “Add a new e-mail account” and press the “Next” button.

4. On the next screen select “POP3” and press the “Next >” button.

6. All the fields need to be filled in like in the example below:

7. Once you have filled in all the fields, you are then ready to test you email address. Press "Test Account Settings..." button to achieve this.

8. A new window will popup and test your email account. If you are successful you will have green ticks to the left of the Outgoing and Incoming mail servers. If you have red crosses you have entered some wrong information somewhere. Check the "Errors" tab on this window and this may help you determine where you have gone wrong. Then go back and correct the fields above.

9. If you were successful you will have been sent a test email from Outlook, so check you’re Inbox.
